These are all of the resources, products and services I use to run this blog, and some are affiliate links.
Graphics
I do most of my own graphics, but the incredible faux-hawked logo lady was drawn by Deanna at I365 Art. She also did the various baking pans around the site. How great is it that she got my spork in there?!
Hosting
GreenGeeks: they are environmentally friendly, and have 99% uptime. You can choose between WordPress managed, VPN, and shared hosting depending on what suits your needs. Their customer service is top-notch, and they have 99% uptime. They’ll also help you move your site to their servers.
URLs
I buy all of my URLs at Namecheap, because they almost always have the best prices around. Click here to get a new, popular URL for $0.99!
Theme
I have used Genesis for over a decade, and I love the functionality. Click here to Create WordPress sites and content quickly with prebuilt content blocks, sections and full page layouts using Genesis Pro!
File Storage
I practically live in the Google Cloud, and my Admin is a remote worker, so this works out for us incredibly well. We trade files and get updates in real-time.
Social Media
I took a class from the incredible Elle Duclos at Boss Girl Bloggers: Pinterest with Ell. She has over a million monthly interactions on Pinterest, and really knows her stuff. Click here to sign up for the class.
While we’re on the subject, Ell and I absolutely love Tailwind, and if you want to try it out, click here to get $15 to try Tailwind Plus! (Pro Tip: Upgrading was the best thing I’ve ever done for my Pinterest feed, besides taking Ell’s class)
Scheduling
I use Later to schedule my social media posts that happen when I can’t sleep and am up at 3am writing, so that all of my lovely readers get them when they are awake. Click here to get 10 more instagram posts when you sign up.
Grocery Shopping
If you’ve clicked on any of my links, you know that they go almost exclusively to Thrive Market. They are a membership market like Amazon/Whole Foods, and I’m with them because I really like shopping there. I buy their Cassava Corn Chips and Giant Bag of Cashews every time I order. They also have special membership requirements if you use EBT/SNAP.
I also shop quite a bit at Target and Safeway.
I will continue to update this page as I add or remember services I use.
